George Parker Trayner,78 of Tucson, Arizona, died March 5, 1999. He was born September 14, 1920 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to George Parker Trayner, Sr., and Grace Lambert Trayner. Mr. Trayner attended Emerson Elementary School, Roosevelt Junior High and East High School. He worked summers with the United States Survey Party in the Uintah and Wasatch Mountains to earn money to attend the University of Utah. In 1948 he and his wife moved to Tucson, Arizona, where he worked for the United States Post Office until his retirement in 1975. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gweneth Jensen Trayner, and by his brother, John L. Trayner of St. George, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Maryan Yadon, Grace E. Allen and Kathryn Marshall and by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held in Tucson, Arizona. Graveside services will be held at 1l a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 1999 at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (Rosemont Section). Friends may call at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive on Saturday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. |
