Gertrude Bernice Jensen Rudy, our loving wife and mother, passed away peacefully on November 22, 1996 at the age of 69.

Born September 17, 1927 to Gertrude Grayson and Joseph Mead Jensen in Salt Lake City. She lived all her life in Utah and loved her native state. She graduated from the University of Utah in 1947 at age 19, and taught school at East High for several years. She married Allen B. Rudy in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on December 2, 1953. She was an active member of the LDS Church and shared her talents and testimony serving faithfully in many callings in East Millcreek, where she lived for 43 years. Her life's devotion was to her husband and her family. They were her greatest joy. Her love for them and their love for her is eternal.

Survived by her husband; her daughters, Debbie (Jim) Youngberg, Kathy (Chris) West, and Kim (Dee) Gardiner; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and her brother, Mead LeRoy Jensen. Preceded in death by her parents and a brother, George Eldon Jensen.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Tuesday, November 26th, in the East Millcreek 11th Ward, 2702 East Evergreen Ave. (3435 South). Family and friends may call 7-8 p.m. Monday, at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 So. Highland Drive, and at the church 11-11:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Interment, Waasatch Lawn Memorial Park, Olympus Park Section
