Sharon Irene Brinton, our beloved daughter, sister and friend, passed away October 3, 2000, following a two year battle with cancer.
Born March 12, 1941 to William Barr Brinton and Beverly Dorothea Nielsen. Sharon lived her early years in Logan, Rexburg, Payson, Holladay, and Riverton until her family settled in Midvale, Utah. She graduated from Jordan High School and Brigham Young University. Sharon was an active member of the LDS Church and served for two years in the West German mission. Sharon lived and worked in Sunnyvale, California and then returned to Utah and finally back to Midvale where she became heavily involved in community affairs. She served on the Union Community Council for many years and was chairperson when she had to resign because of her health. Sharon enjoyed 24 years working in the genealogy department for the LDS Church. Sharon loved gardening, genealogy, history and many other things, but mostly she loved her family and friends. Sharon was a great collector of people.
