The graduation ceremony is the highlight of the academic year. It provide an occasion to celebrate the achievement of the students, and to recognise the vital support and encouragement of family and friends.

The ceremony took place in the magnificent Victorian Chapel and Picture Gallery on Tuesday 9th July 2002 at 2.00 pm.

The ceremony was followed by a champagne reception in the South Quadrangle where the graduands and their guests met up with other students and academic staff.

Claire of course ended up drinking far too much champagne, but we were all very happy and proud of Claire as you might gather from the following pictures.
