| James Christian Roholt, age 81, passed away April
19, 1993 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born October 19, 1911 in Cleveland, Idaho to James Christian Roholt, Sr. and Mary Ames. Married Agnes Burton; Married Ann Miller; Married Gertrude Blewett Winyard September 19, 1970 in Salt Lake City. He loved his family. He loved to golf; he was an honorary member of the Golfer's Hall of Fame. He had three gold medals from the 1993 Utah Senior Games. Worked as a railway postal clerk; he was one of the last, retiring as a postal data technician. He had a fantastic memory. He loved to sing"from the heart." A valedictorian of his senior class in high school, he liked to help people, and was always doing good. He will be missed. Survived by his wife, Gertrude; children: Garth, Elaine, Don, Reed, Joe, Jacque, D'Marko, Margie, Marilyn, and Bobby; 18 grandchildren; and 23 great-gradnchildren; two step-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. George (Ora) Johnson, and Mrs. Verl (Colleen) Kingsford. Preceded in death by two great-grandchildren; a daughter, Carol Ann, two brothers, Aurreal and Delvid, and one sister, Ann. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 23, 1993, at 12 noon, at Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, SLC, where friends may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Friday, one hour prior to services.
