Lundumgaard, Lundum Parish. Post and Station: Lundum. The Farms is situated ca. 8 Km. from Horsens. Owner: Kristen Jensen, took over the farm 1. April 1912.
Matr.-No. 9a with other of Lundum. Land valuation 6 Tdr. 2 Skpr. 1 Fdkr. (sorry no idea what that is in English) Rateable value 32,000 DKr. Fireassurance for Buildings ca. 13,000 DKr. Area 52 Tdr. Land., thereof fields 43, meadow 5, Mash 2, Garden and Drive 1. Fields divide into 8: Oats, Winter Crop, Beet, Barley, Beet, Barley, Oats and two year grass, Party in 6: Beet, Cow Fodder, Mangold seed, Oats, and two year Grass, furthermore a piece with Lucerne. Earth quality is deep soil on clay. There is kept 23 Cows, 17 young Cattle and Calfs and 2 Bulls of the Red Danish breed, 4 Horses and 1 Colt. Sale of 60 Porkers last year.
The owner bought L u n d u m g a a r d of Anders Kjær Poulsen, who bought it of Niels Poulsen, who had owned the farm for about 20 years.
The Fields are level and lays collective east of the Farm. - All buildings are half timbered with thatched roofs. The main House is North facing, surrounded by garden which slopes gently now towards the village road.
